Pinball Wizard Allium
20-24" tall x 12" wide. Pinball Wizard Allium sports lush spheres of rich purple blooms. Plant them in well-drained, compost-enriched soil in a full sun to light shade location. They will grow up between other perennials and as they die back the perennials hide the wilting foliage. Plant with Delphinium, Oriental Poppies, Iris, and Ornamental Grasses for great effect. Some gardeners intentionally interplant Allium amongst Roses, Peonies, and other perennials, as they have antifungal properties that may help the neighboring plants.
